Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Toby Alderweireld has urged international teammate Michy Batshuayi to join him at White Hart Lane.
Batshuayi is in high demand this summer having scored 17 goals for Marseille in Ligue 1 last season, with the likes of Spurs, Chelsea, West Ham United and Crystal Palace battling for his signature.
Reports earlier today suggested that Batshuayi has decided on a move to Stamford Bridge, and Alderweireld acknowledged that the presence of Harry Kane at Spurs may have a factor in the decision.
"Do I hope Batshuayi comes to Tottenham? Yes of course," Alderweireld told the Evening Standard.
"He has a lot of qualities. The problem of course is that at that position Tottenham already has Harry Kane, while there is a lot of interest for Batshuayi [from other clubs]."
Chelsea have reportedly flown medical staff out to Euro 2016 ahead of a reported £33.2m move for the Belgium international.
