Report: Football Association investigating sexist complaint against Jose Mourinho

The Football Association is reportedly investigating a claim that Jose Mourinho used sexist language towards Eva Carneiro during their fall-out last month.

The Football Association is reportedly looking into a complaint from a member of the public that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho used sexist language towards team doctor Eva Carneiro last month.

Mourinho fumed on the touchline during the opening-weekend draw with Swansea City when Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn ran onto the pitch to treat Eden Hazard.

The duo's action, which meant that Hazard had to leave the field, saw them demoted and they have not been part of Chelsea's matchday physio team since.

According to BBC Sport, the FA is investigating claims that Mourinho used sexist language towards Carneiro but it is unlikely to result in a fine or ban.

In addition, The Times today claimed that both Carneiro and Fearn could resume their first-team duties soon.
