Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that refereeing decisions are affecting the morale of his players after his side lost 3-1 against Southampton.
The 52-year-old believes that his side should have had a penalty while the game was at 1-1 and feels that officials are afraid to give Chelsea the right decisions.
Mourinho told Sky Sports News: "The result 1-1 is a huge penalty and, once more, we don't get. Referees are afraid to give decisions for Chelsea. Why? Because when they give there is always a question mark from you.
"If the FA want to punish me they can punish me. This penalty is more than crucial. Because my team, in this moment, the first negative thing that happens the team collapses."
The result leaves Chelsea 16th in the Premier League table and just four points above the relegation zone.
