Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that Yaya Toure should be banned following the Manchester City midfielder's clash with Norwich City's Ricky van Wolfswinkel.
Toure escaped punishment after appearing to kick the striker during Saturday's 0-0 draw between the teams in the Premier League.
The 30-year-old could now face retrospective action from the Football Association, possibly leading to a three-game suspension.
"If he is not suspended, the message is clear - you can do what you want," Mourinho is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "If the FA defends football, he has to be suspended."
The FA is currently awaiting referee Jon Moss's report of the match.
