Jose Mourinho: 'We will continue to improve'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists that his side will continue to improve after recording four successive victories at the start of the campaign.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has played down his team's start to the season by insisting that the Blues are "far from perfection".

The West London outfit lead the Premier League table after putting together four successive wins, but as they prepare for their Champions League opener with Schalke 04, Mourinho believes that his side will continue to improve throughout the campaign.

The 51-year-old told reporters: "We are far from perfection. We try to improve every day. We did that today. There are always new aspects coming into our game.

"There was an evolution from this year to last year. The team has better conditions to play better football, even though we did well last season. It's difficult to do better but we feel that we have the conditions to try to do so with a better team and a better group."

Chelsea have a fully-fit squad available for the visit of the Bundesliga team.
