Team News: Pedro starts in place of Cesc Fabregas as Jose Mourinho makes two changes

Jose Mourinho makes one change to his starting lineup as Pedro comes in for Cesc Fabregas, while Stoke City are unchanged for the sides' meeting at the Britannia.

Jose Mourinho has made two changes to the team that started against Dynamo Kiev as Pedro comes in for Cesc Fabregas while Eden Hazard begins instead of Oscar, as Mark Hughes sticks with the same Stoke City lineup that started against Newcastle.

Pedro replaces his compatriot Fabregas in attacking midfield, taking up a place on the wing as Eden Hazard lines up behind lone striker Diego Costa, in the two alterations from the Blues' 2-1 midweek victory.

Baba Rahman continues at left-back, with Cesar Azpilicueta on the opposite side of defence as Branislav Ivanovic fails to make the bench for the clash.

Mark Hughes names the same lineup that came away from St James' Park with a 0-0 draw.

Jonathan Walters, who signed a new contract with the club on Saturday, starts up front again as Mame Biram Diouf continues to take his place on the bench.

Geoff Cameron also sits on the Potters' bench following his return from injury, replacing Chelsea loanee Marco van Ginkel, who cannot play against his parent club.

Stoke City: Butland; Johnson, Shawcross, Wollscheid, Pieters; Whelan, Adam; Shaqiri, Bojan, Arnautovic; Walters
Subs: Haugaard, Wilson, Ireland, Afellay, Cameron, Diouf, Crouch

Chelsea: Begovic; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Terry, Baba; Matic, Ramires; Willian, Hazard, Pedro; Costa
Subs: Amelia, Cahill, Mikel, Fabregas, Oscar, Kenedy, Remy
