Serie A leaders AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen in the January transfer window.
The Rossoneri are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements after experienced centre-back Simon Kjaer underwent knee ligament surgery last week and will miss the rest of the season.
According to Sky Sports News in Italy, Milan's sporting director Paolo Maldini has identified Christensen as a potential target for either a loan or permanent transfer to San Siro.
The reports adds that fellow Chelsea defender Malang Sarr, Lille's Sven Botman and Fiorentina's Nikola Milenkovic are also on Milan's shortlist for the winter window.
Milan have a recent history of recruiting players from Stamford Bridge, with Tiemoue Bakayoko, Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori all now plying their trade with the Rossoneri.
Christensen, 25, who will see his current contract expire next summer, has made 142 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions, including 15 this campaign.
