Inter Milan will reportedly offer Mauro Icardi a bumper new deal worth £5.6m a year to keep the striker at San Siro.
Serie A rivals Juventus confirmed their interest in the Argentina international last week, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his future.
Icardi was recently stripped of the captaincy and has not featured in the past fortnight, missing three games in the process, due to a breakdown in talks over a contract extension.
Corriere dello Sport claims that Inter are keen to put an end to the disruption by meeting the 26-year-old's salary demands, though, which includes a number of bonuses on top.
The Nerazzurri's star player, who has another two years to run on his existing deal, is also believed to be on Real Madrid's and Chelsea's radars.
