Scott Dann: 'Away form key for Crystal Palace'

Scott Dann claims that Crystal Palace's away form could be key to a successful season as they prepare to take on Everton.

Scott Dann has claimed that Crystal Palace are confident of picking up another win on the road as they prepare to meet Everton on Monday evening.

Palace were triumphant on their last trip to Merseyside when Dann earned them a 2-1 win over Liverpool, and the centre-back believes that their performances away from home could be key to challenging the sides in the top half of the table.

"We've had a tough run of games up until this point, but the way we've played away from home against the big teams shows us that we can get results. I think we can be happy with where we are in the league," Dann told the club's website.

"The past two seasons we haven't started so well and have then come strong at the end of the season, so if we can build on what we've done already then hopefully we can be pushing teams like Everton come the end."

Palace currently occupy eighth spot, just one point ahead of 11th-placed Everton.
