Danny Gabbidon has committed his future to Crystal Palace by signing a new contract at Selhurst Park.
It is believed that the 33-year-old's previous deal was due to expire next month, but he will now remain with the Eagles until the end of next season at least.
The Welsh defender joined Palace last year and has made 14 appearances in total, including being given a starting role in the last seven matches of the campaign as Ian Holloway's side gained promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.
Gabbidon started his career at West Bromwich Albion, before playing for Cardiff City, West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers.
