Oriol Riera has revealed that he has accepted an offer to join Deportivo La Coruna from Wigan Athletic.
The 28-year-old joined Wigan from Osasuna in the summer, but has scored just once since arriving in England.
There has been no confirmation from either club at this stage, but the forward has claimed that he is set to join Depor.
"The last 15 days have been very intense. I had options and, ultimately, in my career, I've chosen the clubs who I think have suited me best," he told reporters.
"The city, club, style of play and culture make Deportivo the best place for me to continue growing and improving each year. I hope it's a good choice.
"People from both inside and outside the club have spoken highly about Deportivo, and it's another reason why I've accepted their offer."
Riera cost Wigan in the region of £2m last summer.
