Derby County coach Paul Simpson has conceded that the club are open to the prospect of signing a new striker on loan.
The Championship leaders are expected to be without the services of Darren Bent for up to a month with a hamstring tear, while a similar injury has kept fellow centre-forward Chris Martin on the sidelines for the past two weeks.
As a result, Simpson has revealed that the Rams are making a move to bolster their attacking options.
"We have talked about the possibility of bringing in cover but the options are very limited," he told BBC Radio Derby.
Bent and Martin have scored 23 league goals between them this season.
