Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse believes that England have enough "quality" to reach the future targets of Football Association chairman Greg Dyke.
Dyke stated in his speech this week that the Three Lions should aim to reach the semi-finals of Euro 2020 and then go on to win the World Cup in Qatar two years later.
Ward-Prowse believes that England have enough young players to progress following the Under-21s' 1-0 win over Moldova in the 2015 European Under-21 qualifier yesterday.
"[Dyke's comments are] exciting," the Daily Echo quotes Ward-Prowse as saying. "It keeps us working hard on a daily basis to improve ourselves.
"Hopefully we can push on and I think it is a real possibility. You can see the quality that we have."
Meanwhile, the senior England team are preparing to take on Moldova in a World Cup qualifier this evening.
