Roberto Martinez has hailed the "incredible character" of his Everton side following their 1-1 draw away at FC Krasnodar this evening.
Much like the Merseyside derby on Saturday - which also finished 1-1 - the Toffees rescued a late point, with Samuel Eto'o netting an 83rd-minute goal in Russia tonight.
Martinez has said that the attitude shown by his team in both games has been "very pleasing".
"We showed incredible character to know we had to wait a little bit and then be able to get ourselves back in the game," the Spaniard told the club's official website shortly after the final whistle.
"I think we finished the second half really, really strongly and could even have won it at the end. To come to a place like today, where you don't really know what to expect and where you can't really be yourselves, it's tough.
"I'm delighted with our character, our fight and for us to be unbeaten after the two games is very pleasing."
Everton are currently first in Group H, having won one and drawn one of their opening two games.
