Sunday's Eredivisie action will get underway with a top-half clash at Stadion Galgenwaard where FC Utrecht will be playing hosts to Go Ahead Eagles.
Both sides are coming off commanding league wins last weekend and will be looking to keep their momentum going leading up to the December break.
We say: FC Utrecht 2-1 Go Ahead Eagles
While Go Ahead Eagles recorded an impressive victory last weekend, they have found wins on the road hard to come by this season, and we feel they will struggle to overcome Utrecht on their home patch in this one.

FC Twente vs. Groningen (Sunday, 1.30pm)

Off the back of their heaviest defeat of the season in their most recent league outing, FC Twente will be looking to bounce back on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Groningen to De Grolsch Veste.
Groningen, meanwhile, will head to Enschede this weekend aiming to return to winning ways, having had to make do with a share of the spoils last time out.
We say: FC Twente 2-1 Groningen
Only PSV Eindhoven (21) and Ajax (19) have picked up more points than FC Twente (15) in home matches this term, and we can see this weekend's hosts getting the job done at the sound of the final whistle.

Nijmegen vs. Sparta (Sunday, 1.30pm)

Both aiming to end losing runs in the fight at the bottom end of the Eredivisie table, NEC and Sparta Rotterdam will do battle at the Goffertstadion on Sunday.
The visitors have dropped into the relegation playoff place following six straight league defeats, while their visitors are five points better off in 11th spot after three losses of their own consecutively.
We say: NEC 1-1 Sparta Rotterdam
With both sides desperate to end tough runs of form, we anticipate a hard-fought contest on Sunday and see a share of the spoils as the most likely outcome.

Ajax vs. Almere City (Sunday, 3.45pm)

Two sides with contrasting Eredivisie ambitions for the season will meet this weekend when Ajax play host to Almere City Johan Cruijff Arena on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts will be looking to bounce back from defeat in Europe in midweek, while the visitors are in freefall right now, rooted to the bottom of the league table.
We say: Ajax 3-0 Almere City
Despite Ajax's slight dip in form this month, it is difficult to see them losing this match, against an Almere City that are winless on the road this season and have failed to score a single goal in their last three outings.
The hosts have already notched up seven wins in eight at the Johan Cruijff Arena this term and we feel they will add another three points to that tally in this one.

NAC Breda vs. AZ (Sunday, 7.00pm)

NAC Breda and AZ Alkmaar square off in the Eredivisie on Sunday evening with both clubs looking to mount a charge for the top five in the table.
Just four points separate the two teams in seventh and sixth place respectively ahead of the game at the Rat Verlegh Stadium.
We say: NAC Breda 1-2 AZ Alkmaar
With both teams in good form ahead of this contest, we expect a hard-fought contest. Nevertheless, although NAC Breda will be keen to build on their unexpected position in seventh place, we feel that they will fall short against Martens' team on Sunday night.
