Fulham have reportedly made a £26m bid for Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed three successful seasons in La Liga, reaching double figures in the Spanish top flight after getting promoted with Las Palmas before netting 34 times in two seasons with Sociedad.
According to The Sun, Jose has been earmarked by the Premier League new boys as an alternative to Newcastle United forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, who was on loan at Craven Cottage last term.
The report claims that Fulham will now wait to see if their offer has been accepted by Sociedad before pressing ahead with a deal, though they still maintain an interest in Mitrovic.
The Cottagers get their Premier League campaign underway on August 11 with a home fixture against Crystal Palace.
