Bundesliga strugglers Augsburg, Greuther Fürth finish all square

Bundesliga bottom two Greuther Furth and Augsburg both have a man sent off in an entertaining 1-1 draw which does little to help either side's fight for survival.

Basement battlers Greuther Furth and Augsburg both had a men sent off as their relegation six-pointer finished all square.

Augsburg made a bright start and the visitors were ahead after 10 minutes when Sascha Molders rose highest to head home an in-swinging free kick.

Furth struggled to respond but came alive after the break to equalise when Lasse Sobiech scored their first goal in over eight hours of play.

The home side were forced to hold on in the closing stages after Mergim Mavraj was dismissed for a second bookable offence.

Augsburg tried to force a winner but found themselves down to 10 men in stoppage time when Giovanni Sio was shown a straight red card.
