Former Juventus defender Martin Caceres is reportedly on the verge of joining Serie A rivals Fiorentina.
The Uruguayan international is a free agent after the Bianconeri confirmed that they would not renew the 29-year-old's contract.
However, Mundo Deportivo claims that his agent will fly to Florence for talks with Viola coach Paulo Sousa.
Fiorentina are expected to face competition for Caceres's signature, with Roma, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Napoli all said to be interested in the former Barcelona centre-back.
Caceres missed the final months of last season with an Achilles injury.
