Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has said that his side's 1-1 draw away to Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final is a "good result".
Divock Origi was preferred to Daniel Sturridge from the start and justified his inclusion by scoring an away goal at the Westfalenstadion, before Mats Hummels equalised to ensure that the match ended all square.
The Reds largely frustrated a Dortmund side who had averaged more than three goals per game at home this season, and Lovren was particularly pleased with the defensive teamwork.
"We know it would be a tough game. They kept the ball really well. We had a couple of chances to kill them but it is a good result for us," he told BT Sport.
"We need to do even better at Anfield. I am satisfied for today. It was a great job from everyone today. We had great discipline in defence with all 11 players."
The second leg will take place at Anfield next Thursday.
