Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge: 'I'm good to go'

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge says that he is "good to go" after overcoming a hamstring injury.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has revealed that he is back in training and ready to return from injury.

The 26-year-old has endured a difficult campaign so far, having had four separate stints out with injuries to his hip, knee, ankle and hamstring.

Tweeting after today's result that saw the Reds beat league leaders Leicester City, Sturridge confirmed that he was back training and "good to go".

Sturridge was not expected to feature until mid-January but could now be in contention for the league trips to Sunderland and West Ham United on December 30 and January 2.
