Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is reportedly unlikely to feature in this weekend's FA Cup semi-final against Aston Villa at Wembley Stadium.

The England international has been struggling with a hip injury and has been unable to take part in training sessions all week, according to The Mirror.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers was aiming to bring Sturridge back earlier than the initial prognosis of a month on the sidelines, but the forward is lacking match fitness.

Rodgers previously admitted that Sturridge will not return to full fitness until the summer.
