Liverpool's Alberto Moreno: 'We must turn things around for the fans'

Alberto Moreno believes that Liverpool need to turn their results around for the club's "amazing" supporters.

Liverpool full-back Alberto Moreno has insisted that the club's supporters deserve better results from their team.

The Merseyside outfit, who finished two points behind champions Manchester City last season, have struggled for consistent form in this campaign and currently sit 11th in the league table.

Moreno, who signed for Liverpool in the summer, has hailed the Anfield support but believes that the team need to get back on track on the pitch.

"It's amazing and my hairs really stand on end every time I hear them cheering us on," Moreno told the club's official website. "I especially love the fact that in spite of these defeats we've had of late, they never stop or tire of supporting the team and are always there for us.

"I don't think they'll ever let us down. That's why we really have to turn things around, for that set of supporters that we have, always driving us on, we have to do it for them."

Liverpool, who have lost their last two league fixtures, will face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
