Adam Lallana is named among the substitutes as Liverpool welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Anfield.

Adam Lallana has been named among the substitutes as Liverpool welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Anfield for their final league game of the season this afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp makes two changes from the side that suffered a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend, with just one point required today to beat the Blues to Champions League qualification.

The first change comes at right-back, with Trent Alexander-Arnold dropping back to cover for Nathaniel Clyne alongside Dejan Lovren, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson ahead of Loris Karius in goal.

Jordan Henderson earns a recall in the middle of the park alongside Georginio Wijnaldum as James Milner drops out, while youngster Dominic Solanke comes into the attacking mix as Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah all start.

Lallana, who has been out since the end of March with a hamstring injury, is joined on the bench by the likes of Ragnar Klavan, Alberto Moreno and Danny Ings.

As for the visitors, Chris Hughton makes four changes following a 3-1 defeat away at champions Manchester City on Wednesday night, with Jurgen Locadia and Solly March coming in to join Anthony Knockaert up front.

Pascal Gross is a surprise demotion to the bench, where he is joined by Leonardo Ulloa, Glenn Murray and Bruno.

Beram Kayal gets a rare start in midfield alongside Davy Propper and Dale Stephens, with Jose Izquierdo out of the matchday squad altogether.

Ezequiel Schelotto comes in at right-back, with Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk partnering at centre-back and Gaetan Bong continuing at left-back ahead of Mathew Ryan in goal.
