Trent Alexander-Arnold claims that Liverpool have not been satisfied with their performances in the Premier League this season despite their unbeaten record.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has claimed that his Liverpool side are not yet performing at their best this season.

The England right-back believes that the Reds, who remain unbeaten in the Premier League after 15 games, have not been satisfied with any of their performances during the campaign.

"We are nowhere near 100%," Alexander-Arnold told the Daily Mail. "I am not sure we have had a game yet where we have been happy with our performance."

Referring to the 3-1 victory over Premier League champions and title contenders Manchester City last month, the 21-year-old said: "The City game was excellent but even then we were disappointed that we conceded. It's hard to accept but for us it's about winning."

Alexander-Arnold, who last month made his 100th club appearance, also appeared to suggest that City would be their main rivals for the title this season.

"Last season City won the last 14 or 15 games on the bounce and they can do it again, can't they? It's hard to get too excited right now," he added.

Liverpool are currently eight points clear of Leicester City at the top of the Premier League table, while Manchester City are 11 points adrift of the top in third.
