Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has insisted that this weekend's match against Queens Park Rangers will not be about him and Mark Hughes.
Hoops boss Hughes was the Italian's predecessor at Eastlands, with many onlookers feeling that his sacking was unfair and badly handled by the City hierarchy.
The Welshman has suggested that the fixture list has given him an opportunity to exact some revenge on his former club, but Mancini is focused on the points at stake rather than any personal rivalry between the pair.
"This is not Mancini against Hughes or Hughes against Mancini, it's Manchester City versus QPR, one team playing for the title, the other against relegation," said Mancini.
Victory at the Etihad Stadium will virtually guarantee City their first Premier League championship ahead of rivals Manchester United.
