Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini open to Premier League return

Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini refuses to rule out a return to the Premier League.

Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has admitted that he is open to one day returning to the Premier League.

The former Manchester City boss described English football as "fantastic" and refused to rule out the possibility of coaching there again in the future.

"Before now I never thought I could come back to Inter. I would like to come back to England because the football is fantastic football, maybe in the future it is possible," he told Sky Sports News.

Mancini went on to say that he expects his former club to reclaim their Premier League crown this season despite fierce competition from Chelsea.

"My opinion is Manchester City is the best team in the Premier League but Chelsea are strong because they have very good players," he added.

"Mourinho is a good manager and he has got them a winning mentality. I think that will be an important game. If City wins, the championship is really open. If City lose, it's difficult. My opinion is City is the better team."

Mancini's Inter currently lie in 10th place in Serie A following an indifferent start to the campaign.
