Scott Sinclair is excited by his loan move to Aston Villa and admitted that he cannot wait to get started after not playing "for a long period of time".
The Manchester City winger is Paul Lambert's second signing of the transfer window following the permanent arrival of Carles Gil from Valencia.
Sinclair told Sky Sports News: "I am so hungry to be playing - I haven't played for a long period of time. I feel like a kid, happy and hungry to play football.
"I'm fit and ready to play. Now it's up to me to show my best form. I want to be out there playing football again. That's what drives me. It gives me a buzz.
"I have so much enthusiasm and excitement. I am just so hungry to do well here."
Aston Villa are currently 16th in the Premier League table, three points above the drop zone.
