Manchester City forward Ferran Torres has been ruled out for up to six weeks through injury, according to a report.
The 21-year-old was forced off after scoring twice in Spain's Nations League semi-final against Italy last week, but was then deemed fit to start the final against France.
However, Torres was once again substituted as a result of the problem and he has now returned to Manchester for tests.
According to BBC Sport/em>, the forward has fractured his right foot and could be out until the end of November.
This means that he will miss several key games for club and country, including the Manchester derby at the start of next month and Spain's crucial World Cup qualifiers against Greece and Sweden.
Torres has scored three goals in seven appearances for Manchester City this season, playing as a centre forward for Pep Guardiola's side.
