Bayern Munich may reportedly make another approach for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane at the start of 2020.
Given their need to find long-term replacements for both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, Bayern made a strong play for Sane before he sustained a serious knee injury at the start of August.
The Germany international is not expected to return to action until the spring, when he could have less than 18 months remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
Should that be the case, Bild claims that Bayern will once again try to tempt City into selling one of their most prized assets.
City are allegedly contemplating whether to put off talks regarding a contract extension until Sane has made sufficient progress in his recovery.
