Manchester United to be without five players for Leicester City clash?

Manchester United are reportedly sweating on the fitness of five first team regulars ahead of their Premier League clash with Leicester City on Saturday.

Manchester United are reportedly sweating on the fitness of five first-team regulars ahead of their Premier League clash with Leicester City on Saturday.

Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jesse Lingard were all ruled out of England's games with Bulgaria and Kosovo, while Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial missed France's fixtures through injury.

While all five were initially expected to be back and available for the game with Leicester, The Mirror now reports that all are facing a race to be ready for the weekend.

Shaw and Martial picked up knocks in the Red Devils' loss to Crystal Palace, with former Juventus midfielder Pogba suffering an ankle injury against Southampton.

Lingard missed England's games through illness, while summer signing Wan-Bissaka is struggling with a back problem.

Without these players, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces a selection headache, with Ashley Young likely to deputise for Shaw at left-back once again should the former Southampton defender miss out.
