Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has revealed that both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Nemanja Matic are doubts for Saturday's Premier League clash with Norwich City.
Wan-Bissaka collided with an advertising board in the latter stages of Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Young Boys in the Champions League and is struggling with a knee issue.
Matic, meanwhile, is battling illness ahead of the match at Carrow Road, and Rangnick has said that both players are doubts for the contest with the league's basement side.
"We have two or three question marks behind players since they haven't shown up, we train at two o'clock. We have to wait until after the training session and the doctor and medical department can tell me what the situation is like," Rangnick told reporters.
"Aaron, as you said, and Nemanja Matic has a bit of a cold. I wouldn't call it flu, he is negative, tested for COVID, and I am still hoping he is available."
Paul Pogba, Raphael Varane, Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial are also all expected to be out this weekend, and the latter's agent has said that he wants to leave the club in January.
