Michael Carrick believes that Manchester United will get back to winning ways this weekend against QPR.

Michael Carrick has backed Manchester United to get back to winning ways against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

The Red Devils went down 1-0 at Norwich City in the Premier League last weekend before they were beaten by the same scoreline in the Champions League against Galatasaray on Tuesday.

"It is massively important for us to bounce back," Carrick told the club's official website. "We were disappointed with the result against Galatasaray but we are in a good position in this group. The Norwich game was disappointing too.

"We are normally very good at bouncing back and after losing back-to-back games we will look to do that on Saturday."

Carrick is the only player in the United squad to start all 12 of their Premier League matches this season.
