Rio Ferdinand: Manchester United "need to get a run going"

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand believes that his side have to take momentum from their win over Real Sociedad into their upcoming fixtures.

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand believes that his side need to use their victory over Real Sociedad as a momentum boost to launch their season.

United secured their second win in the Champions League in their campaign as Inigo Martine'z own goal was enough to earn them the three points at Old Trafford.

Ferdinand said on Twitter: "3 points CL, roll on the weekend. Decent result. Need to get a run going now....sleeves rolled up."

David Moyes's side face Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday.
