Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton has described his side's performance during their 1-0 win over Manchester United as "superb".
The Seagulls ensured their Premier League survival thanks to Pascal Gross's second-half header, and Hughton believes that his team's self-belief has be the key to competing in the top flight this season.
"There's a group of players with great belief and discipline. We learned after the first few games that the performances were good enough that we weren't always going to get beat, and that gave us confidence," he told Sky Sports News.
"When we've needed a big moment, what's obvious is we've had two really good performances away at Old Trafford we've drawn against Spurs and in the big games we've shown we can compete. If we get a little bit of fortune, a little bit of luck goes our way, but I thought to a man we were superb tonight."
The win leaves Brighton in 11th place in the league table, having hit the 40-points mark.
