Manchester United youngster Will Keane has insisted that he wants to force his way into the first team at Old Trafford.
The 20-year-old had been close to a loan switch to Championship side Wigan Athletic, but after picking up a foot injury while playing for the England Under-21s, the move was put on hold.
Despite being open to a temporary move away, Keane has insisted that he sees his future at United.
"I think quite a few teams were interested and, if it does become the route that the club think is best for me, then it's encouraging if I've got options," Keane told Inside United.
"However, I want to become a United player. That's got to be the target and that is what I have got to do. Adnan Januzaj is a perfect example for me. He's had a chance and has taken it."
Keane was ruled out for the entire duration of last season with a knee injury.
