Manchester United will reportedly collect £7.5m after their former defender Michael Keane moved from Burnley to Everton.
The Red Devils were believed to be interested in re-signing the England international, who came through United's youth ranks before joining Burnley in 2015.
Keane is said to have attracted interest from numerous Premier League clubs due to his impressive performances last season, but Everton won the race.
The Merseyside outfit confirmed his arrival on Monday in a deal that could reportedly rise to £30m.
According to Goal.com, United have not missed out completely, though, as they have pocketed £7.5m thanks to a 25% sell-on clause that they agreed with Burnley two years ago.
Keane is one of five new signings at Everton this summer following the arrivals of Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen, Henry Onyekuru and Sandro Ramirez.
