Gary Neville "sad" to see Nemanja Vidic leave Manchester United

Gary Neville admits that he is "sad" to hear that Nemanja Vidic has decided to leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

Former Manchester United full-back Gary Neville has expressed his 'sadness' at Nemanja Vidic's decision to leave Old Trafford.

The Serbian announced last night that he will look for pastures new away from England at the end of the season.

The centre-back, who has been linked with a switch to Inter Milan, has spent almost eight years with the North-West outfit following his arrival from Spartak Moscow.

After the news was announced, Neville wrote on Twitter: "Sad to see Vidic leaving- him and Rio [Ferdinand] best pair I played with and Vidic for 3 years the best in the premier league!"

United manager David Moyes revealed today that Vidic's exit was a 'mutual decision'.
