Frederic Veseli; 'Manchester United move is an honour'

Frederic Veseli reveals that he is honoured to join Manchester United from Manchester City.

Frederic Veseli has described his transfer to Manchester United from Manchester City as an honour.

The 19-year-old defender completed the move on Tuesday after spending three years playing for City's academy.

Veseli told United's website: "I am very happy and it is an honour to sign for Manchester United.

"I am very thankful to Sir Alex Ferguson for bringing me to such a great club. Manchester United has a long history of younger players coming through and hopefully I can follow and do the same."

Veseli captained the Swiss Under-17s side to a World Cup victory in 2009.
