The agent of Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has said that the defender will be sidelined "for several months" following a knee injury picked up against FC Basel.
The Serbian was stretchered off in the first half after he fell awkwardly on his right knee during United's 2-1 defeat in Switzerland.
Silvano Martina revealed the severity of the problem when he answered questions from the media about a possible move for his client to Juventus.
"The interest of Juventus? It seems to me out of place to talk about it, after the injury to the cruciate ligament yesterday," Martina is quoted as saying by calciomercato.com.
"He'll be out of action for several months, so even if it were true, now it would have no sense to talk about it."
