Arguably Burnley's most consistent performer this season, Trippier once again was full of energy up and down the right flank. It wouldn't be a surprise if Premier League clubs came calling this summer.
Ashley Young (Manchester United)
Not only did Young cause a number of problems and set up United's goal, he also did not shirk his defensively responsibilities, which saw him break up a couple of Arsenal attacks.
Yaya Toure (Manchester City)
Perhaps playing in his penultimate game for City, Toure looked like the player of 12 months ago. It was a powerful display, capped off by two goals.
Claudio Yacob (West Bromwich Albion)
The Argentine was sent off in the reverse fixture against Chelsea earlier in the season, but he made amends at The Hawthorns. It was an all-action showing from Yacob, who controlled the midfield battle.
Sadio Mane (Southampton )
The flying winger scored a hat-trick in under three minutes, smashing the previous Premier League record set by Robbie Fowler.
Yannick Bolasie (Crystal Palace)
Although not a natural forward, Bolasie spearheaded the Palace attack perfectly at Anfield. The home defenders struggled to cope with his powerful and pacey approach.
Saido Berahino (West Bromwich Albion)
The youngster took his goal tally for the season in all competitions to 20 by finding the net twice against the champions, the first of which was a memorable effort.
Numpty of the week
Cesc Fabregas: As amusing as it was, quite what Fabregas was thinking when he sent the ball flying towards the referee as he attempted to diffuse a heated situation, only the Chelsea midfielder knows.
The ball ended up striking West Brom's Chris Brunt on the back of the head and following a bit more pushing, and Fabregas was handed a straight red card, meaning that he misses the last game of the season and also the opening two matches of the next campaign.
Goal of the week
Leroy Fer (Queens Park Rangers) vs. Newcastle United: The Dutch midfielder has had his commitment to the QPR cause questioned recently, but he responded in the best possible fashion at Loftus Road.
Newcastle lost possession inside their own half and when the ball broke for Fer 25 yards from goal, he smashed an effort goalwards that ended up swerving away from visiting goalkeeper Tim Krul on its way into the net.
