AC Milan and Inter Milan have reportedly turned down the opportunity to sign Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
The 37-year-old is still attempting to force a move away from the Red Devils, as he is determined to play Champions League football during the 2022-23 campaign.
According to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, recently made contact with both AC Milan and Inter Milan to offer them the chance to sign the Portugal international.
However, Palmeri claims that both clubs made it clear that they would not be interested in signing the experienced forward, who is now seemingly set to stay at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo is believed to have told Man United at the start of July that he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer, but he has thus far been unsuccessful in his attempts to depart.

Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain were initially linked with the attacker, but all three clubs have since ruled themselves out of the running for his signature.
Meanwhile, it is understood that the Portuguese will not be joining Atletico Madrid or returning to Sporting Lisbon despite the recent speculation surrounding those two clubs.
Ronaldo missed Man United's pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia due to a personal issue, but he featured in their final friendly of the summer against Rayo Vallecano at the end of July.
The forward was then a second-half substitute against Brighton & Hove Albion on the opening weekend of the 2022-23 Premier League campaign before starting against Brentford on Saturday.
Ronaldo could not prevent Erik ten Hag's side from losing both games, though, with the 4-0 defeat at Brentford leaving them at the bottom of the table ahead of their next game against Liverpool.

On Sunday afternoon, there were claims that Man United could consider terminating Ronaldo's contract unless he changed his attitude and behaviour at the club.
However, Manchester Evening News journalist Samuel Luckhurst later reported that the Red Devils have firmly denied the rumours surrounding a potential termination.
Ronaldo will continue to train with Man United, as the team prepare for their clash with Liverpool on August 22, where he is expected to be involved unless he manages to secure an exit.
The Portuguese scored 24 goals and registered three assists in 37 appearances for the Red Devils last season, having returned to the club late in the window from Juventus.
Ronaldo played in Italy for the Old Lady between 2018 and 2021, scoring 101 goals in 134 appearances, winning two Serie A titles and the Coppa Italia in the process.
