The agent of River Plate winger Julian Alvarez is reportedly on his way to Europe to hold meetings with several interested clubs.
Having contributed 18 goals and six assists from just 21 appearances in Argentina's top flight this season, the 21-year-old naturally has many admirers in Europe.
While his contract is due to expire in 12 months' time, Alvarez appears likely to make the switch in one of the next two transfer windows as teams bid to win the race for his signature.
According to South American journalist Roberto Rojas, representative Fernando Hidalgo is due to hold meetings in four European cities over the coming days.
Manchester, London, Madrid and Milan are said to be on his list of destinations, amid speculation that Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and AC Milan are all interested in agreeing terms this month.
Alvarez allegedly has a £17m release clause in his contract, an inviting figure given Alvarez's potential and recent progression into the Argentina national team.
