Inter Milan are reportedly prepared to pay £18m in order to push through a permanent deal for Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez.

Inter Milan are reportedly happy to sign Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez on a permanent deal.

While Sanchez has endured a disappointing loan spell at San Siro, the Chile international has contributed one goal and three assists from his last three outings.

According to Goal, that has resulted in Inter expressing a willingness to keep the 31-year-old on a full-time basis.

There have been previous suggestions that Inter and United would be unable to agree terms over a transfer ahead of next season.

However, it is now claimed that the Serie A outfit are willing to pay £18m for Sanchez, likely on the basis that the player takes a wage cut.

United are expected to be open to reaching a deal with Inter in order to free up space on their own wage bill.
