Manchester City are prepared to sell Jack Grealish in order to fund a big-money move for Jude Bellingham next summer, according to a report.

Manchester City are reportedly prepared to sell Jack Grealish during next summer's transfer window in order to fund a big-money move for Jude Bellingham.

The Citizens are believed to be one of three favourites to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, with Liverpool and Real Madrid also said to be firmly in the race for his signature.

However, a deal for the 19-year-old could cost in excess of £129m, while the midfielder would also demand a substantial salary, having established himself as one of the most in-demand players in world football.

Man City are believed to be determined to sign the England international, and according to Football Insider, the Premier League champions would be willing to sell Grealish in order to raise the required funds.

The report claims that Grealish 'has not convinced Pep Guardiola' since making the move from Aston Villa in the summer of 2021.

The 27-year-old has only managed seven goals and four assists in 55 matches for the Citizens, while he has found it difficult to show his best form during the 2022-23 campaign.

Grealish has just one goal in 16 appearances for Guardiola's side this term, failing to score or register an assist in six outings in the group stage of the Champions League.

The attacker has a contract at the Etihad Stadium until June 2027, but he could potentially be made available for transfer at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Grealish starred for Aston Villa ahead of a move to Manchester, scoring 32 goals and registering 43 assists in 213 appearances for the seven-time English champions.

Bellingham, who is currently playing alongside Grealish at the World Cup for England, made the move to Dortmund from Birmingham City in 2020.

The youngster has again been in strong form for BVB during the 2022-23 season, scoring nine goals and registering three assists in 22 appearances in all competitions.

Meanwhile, he has now scored 19 goals and registered 21 assists in 112 appearances for the German outfit in all competitions.

Manchester United and Chelsea are also believed to be keen on Bellingham, but Man City will seemingly battle Liverpool and Real Madrid for his signature.

Dortmund are allegedly hopeful that a strong World Cup will allow them to raise their asking price - already said to be £129m - with the overall transfer fee potentially being in the region of £150m.
