Manchester United are monitoring Thomas Lemar's situation at Atletico Madrid, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly 'attentive' to Thomas Lemar's situation at Atletico Madrid as the Frenchman continues to be linked with a summer move.

The 24-year-old has struggled to contribute for Atletico during the 2019-20 campaign, failing to score or register an assist in 24 appearances in all competitions.

Arsenal continue to be linked with the France international, and a recent report claimed that he could arrive at the Emirates Stadium as part of a swap for Alexandre Lacazette.

However, according to AS, United are also keeping a close eye on developments at the Wanda Metropolitano as they consider an offer during this summer's transfer window.

Lemar has only scored three times in 67 appearances for Diego Simeone's side since arriving from Monaco ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

The 2018 World Cup winner has a contract with Atletico until June 2023.
