Borussia Dortmund will demand at least £130m for Jude Bellingham during next summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Borussia Dortmund will reportedly demand at least £130m for Jude Bellingham during next summer's transfer window, with the midfielder already starring at the World Cup.

The 19-year-old put in a man-of-the-match performance for England in their tournament opener against Iran on Monday, finding the back of the net in his side's 6-2 win.

Bellingham has been in excellent form for Dortmund this season, meanwhile, scoring nine goals and registering three assists in 22 appearances in all competitions.

The midfielder has a contract with BVB until June 2025, but he is widely expected to be on his way out of the German club during next summer's transfer window.

A number of the world's biggest clubs, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City, are all said to be in the hunt to sign him.

According to the Daily Mail, Dortmund are open to a sale, but the German giants will want at least £130m for the former Birmingham City youngster.

Liverpool are allegedly long-term admirers of Bellingham, although the Reds could struggle to pay the transfer fee, while they might find it difficult to match the wages that other sides could put on the table.

Bellingham made the move to Dortmund from Birmingham in July 2020, and he has represented the German side on 112 occasions, scoring 19 goals and contributing 21 assists.

The midfielder has already captained BVB this term, meanwhile, once in the Bundesliga at the start of October, before also wearing the armband against Sevilla in the Champions League.

Despite Man United's firm interest, ex-Red Devils captain Rio Ferdinand is not expecting Erik ten Hag's side to win the race for his signature next summer.

"Put yourself in Jude Bellingham's shoes now... [Manchester] City are going to be in for him, Real Madrid will probably be in for him, they are all going to be, Barca (Barcelona), Bayern [Munich] will be in for him," Ferdinand said on his FIVE YouTube channel.

"There's too much work to be done at United, whether he thinks 'you know what I can be the catalyst to pull this club back to where it should be'.

"That's the only way he goes if he says that in his own mind, 'I can be that guy', if he thinks he can be that guy then Man United's the club for him, but I don't see him taking that decision."

Bellingham is again expected to be in the starting XI when England face the USA in their second match at the 2022 World Cup on Friday night.
