Manchester United consider £23m move for Bastian Schweinsteiger?

Manchester United reportedly consider a £23m move for Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to launch a £23m move for Bayern Munich's Bastian Schweinsteiger.

The German international is believed to have been tracked by the former Premier League champions for some time as they prepare for a new era under manager Louis van Gaal.

According to The Express, United are pondering an official bid for the player after they missed out on signing Schweinsteiger's teammate Thomas Muller.

The German attacker signed a new deal with the Bundesliga champions this week, extending his stay to 2019.

Despite failing to land Muller, United could have better success with Schweinsteiger after reports claimed that Bayern will listen to offers for the midfielder.
