Manchester United are reportedly veering away from Gianluigi Donnarumma as a possible David de Gea replacement due to increasing tensions with his agent Mino Raiola.

Manchester United have reportedly cooled their interest in AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma amid increasing tension with his agent Mino Raiola.

United are understood to still be on the lookout for potential replacements for David de Gea, whose contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

The Red Devils remain confident that they will be able to tie De Gea down to a new deal which would make him the world's best-paid keeper, earning a reported £350,000 per week.

However, until the Spain international puts pen to paper they will still consider their options, with Donnarumma one of the players to have been regularly linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past.

AC Milan are understood to be open to offers for the 20-year-old should they receive a suitable transfer fee, but Gazzetta dello Sport reports that United's interest has faded due to Donnarumma's agent.

Raiola most notably represents current United midfielder Paul Pogba and recently publicly declared that the France international wants to leave the club this summer.

The United hierarchy are therefore reluctant to do more business with Raiola in the immediate future and could focus on other goalkeeping targets should a new deal for De Gea fall through.
