Manchester United are reportedly preparing a January move for Barcelona youngster Sergi Roberto.
The 21-year-old, who made his first-team debut for the Catalan outfit in 2010, is highly rated at the Camp Nou, but has been unable to force his way into their first XI.
According to Sport, the Premier League champions are keeping a close eye on proceedings with a view to submitting an official offer when the transfer window reopens.
A number of European clubs have also been linked with the Spain Under-21 international.
