Karl Robinson hopeful of Dele Alli MK Dons stay

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson hopes that he can keep hold of reported Manchester United and Liverpool target Dele Alli.

Karl Robinson has expressed his hope that midfielder Dele Alli will remain at MK Dons amid interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

The 18-year-old has been linked with a move to both Manchester United and Liverpool this summer, and Robinson admitted earlier this week that he has held conversations with "two or three" top-tier sides over the youngster's availability.

However, the Dons boss says that the club will do whatever is right for both parties.

"He's a wonderful player, a wonderful talent," BBC Sport quotes Robinson as saying. "We know of the interest. We want to make sure we do it right. I'm sure we will. He knows of my desire to keep him. And hopefully we can do so."

Alli has scored eight goals for the League One outfit since making his debut at the age of just 16 in 2012.
